I received my B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. My studies focused on molecular and cell biology. It was there I first learned how cells interact and communicate with each other and their environments. I became fascinated with the inner workings of the cells and how they contribute to health and disease. This became the basis for my studies of holistic approaches to healing.
I began my holistic training at The School of Healing Arts in San Diego. There I received exceptional training in Structural Integration, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Circulatory Massage and Lymphatic Drainage, as well as their practical applications.
I completed my studies to become a Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP) at Meridian International School of Health Sciences. There I studied comprehensive nutrition, herbal medicine, Chinese and Japanese healing modalities.
I eventually became a Certified Master Clinical Herbalist, completing an extensive certification program at The Natural healing Institute in Encinitas, CA.
I have also received advanced training in CranioSacral Therapy from the Upledger Institute, including training in pediatrics and applications to pregnancy, labor and delivery.
I have extensive training in Visceral Manipulation, Neural Manipulation, Manual Articular Therapy, and other Osteopathic Manual Therapies from The Barral Institue.
I have also studied Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Manual Lymphatic Mapping at the Chikly Health Institute and received specific instruction for its applications for fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and chronic neuroinflammation.
I am also a certified Reiki Master.
